Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our spices, shipping, and quality standards.
How can I tell if my spices are still fresh?
To check for freshness, look for a vibrant color and a strong aroma. If the spice smells faint or looks faded, it has likely lost its potency. Most ground spices stay fresh for 2-3 years, while whole spices can last up to 4 years.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship to all 50 U.S. states and select international territories. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by location and are calculated at checkout.
Are McCormick products gluten-free?
We clearly label any ingredients containing gluten on our packaging. While many of our single-ingredient spices are naturally gluten-free, we recommend checking the ingredient statement on the back of each bottle for the most accurate information.
What is your return policy for food items?
Due to safety and quality concerns, we cannot accept returns on food products. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team within 30 days for a full refund or replacement.
How should I store my spices to keep them fresh?
Spices should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place, such as a pantry or cupboard. Avoid storing them above the stove or near the dishwasher, as heat and moisture will accelerate the loss of flavor.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as digital payment options like PayPal and Apple Pay.
